In Electronic Motion Games' "sad brain teasing puzzle-platform game", players assume the role of a voodoo doll named Adi. He finds himself lost in the sorrow forest and the only way regain his memory is to rescue the lost souls he finds there. The only way he'll do that is to perform multiple actions at the same time, but he's only one doll. However, if he dies after his actions, he'll return to life alongside his past self. By co-operating with his past self and interacting with other characters, he should be able to solve all of the puzzles and find peace once again. As well as the single-player campaign, there's a local co-op mode where players will solve individual levels. The game is coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 in Q4 2018/Q1 2019 thanks to ID@Xbox.

Eternal Hope

Double Hit Games' "2D physics-based puzzle platformer" has a similarly depressing setting to the title above. After his beloved is killed in an accident, a boy is swallowed by his grief, but he receives an offer to bring her back. To do this, he must shift between two dimensions and find all of the fragments of her soul that were cast around the world when she died. Of course, the journey is fraught with dangers and many challenges to overcome. Players will get to take on the mission themselves when the game is released on Xbox One through ID@Xbox later this year.

Kova

Black Hive Media's "metroidvania RPG" takes place in a distant future where humans have colonised many planets across the galaxies and technology has progressed immensely. Players assume the role of the titular Kova Rimor, a female space mercenary looking for a bunch of space pirates. As she looks for them, she is attacked by another ship and crash lands on an uninhabited planet, where she finds a mysterious shard of unknown origin. Is the shard the reason why humans are alone in the universe? As she investigates the shard further, she'll explore many different planets, make friends and foes, battle hostile enemies, upgrade her ship, suit and weapons, and take on side missions to earn more money. The world will be open for exploring when ID@Xbox helps to release the game on Xbox One and Windows 10 later this year.

Shakes on a Plane

No, the title isn't a typo. Animera Games' "physics-based time-management game" is Overcooked on a plane. Players manage a cabin crew on a passenger airliner where they have to deal with travel sickness, preparing and serving food, cleaning up the rubbish, and the everyday occurrence of getting them ready for a paradrop. Of course, when it comes to jetlagged passengers, not everybody is going to co-operate. Each of the player characters will have their own personality and abilities. The developer recommends the game is at its best with 2-4 players, but there is a single-player mode for those who prefer not to be sociable. The game is arriving on PC in Q3 2019 and will arrive on unspecified consoles after that.

Tank Brawl 2

The developer of Jump, Step, Step is back with a title that takes a completely different direction. The sequel to Tank Brawl, which was originally coming to Xbox One but now no longer seems to be the case, this "shoot-em-up tank game" puts players in charge of jeeps, tanks, giant mechs, and even a mobile rocket launcher as they tackle the single-player campaign or team up with a couple of friends in 3v3 multiplayer matches. The game has a vehicle/driver class system that draws inspiration from games like Final Fantasy and Titan Quest, and promises 100 "wow moments". You can verify that claim for yourself when the game is released on Xbox One through ID@Xbox later this year.

E a pixelart é um show a parte.

Sucesso!

Doug Flutie's Maximum Football

090074.jpg

After an absence of nine years, the Maximum Footballfranchise returned to consoles in the form of Canadian Football 2017. This was followed up by this year's Maximum Football 2018, and now Canuck Play intends to continue the franchise next year with another instalment that will include "U.S. College, Canadian, and U.S. professional" rule sets. Having teamed up with American football quarterback Doug Flutie, the franchise will don his moniker over the next few years, with the first title due to arrive on unspecified platforms in Fall 2019.

Fractured Minds

18-year-old Emily Mitchell has already won a BAFTA for her puzzle game that explores the struggles of living with mental health issues like anxiety and depression. Meant to be "provocative and at times uncomfortable", players must solve puzzles to be able to move on to the next level while experiencing feelings of being isolated and trapped, all while normal everyday situations become far more difficult and take on a form that people free of mental health issues wouldn't necessarily recognise. Originally due to be released on Xbox One this week, the title was delayed at the last minute and doesn't yet have another release window.
